Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles,

in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection,

in His ascension to the right hand of the Father,  and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life

and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Open Communion

The Lord's Supper, or Communion, is celebrated in weekly worship and it is open to all.

The Oneness of the Church

All Christians are called to be one in Christ and to seek opportunities for common witness and service.

Baptism by Immersion

In baptism, the self-centered life is set aside, washed away and a new life of trust in God begins.  Although we practice baptism by immersion, other baptism traditions are honored.

Ministry of Believers

Both ordained ministers and laypersons lead in worship, service, and spirited growth.

Freedom of Belief

As Disciples, we are called together around two essentials of faith: a belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and that Christians are free to follow their conscience guided by the Bible, the Holy Spirit, study, prayer, and are expected to extend that freedom to others.

Our Bible Confession

This is my Bible

It is the inspired Word of God

Written so that I will

Read it - Hear it  - Study it

Memorize it - Meditation on it

I will apply the Word daily

My mind will be renewed and

I will live my life on purpose

For all the days of my life

Until I reach eternal life with God

AMEN!
